Dr. Barnett founded Troubadour Health to support governments and community-based organizations in the improvement of community-level health. This work is informed by his 15+ years of health service administration in state and local government and non-profit leadership. 

His education includes a Ph.D. in Behavioral and Community Sciences from the University of South Florida, Master of Health Science (MHS) degree from the Johns Hopkins University's  Bloomberg School of Public Health, a Master of Arts (MA) in Thanatology from Hood College, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from Florida State University.
